PURPOSE:To perform internode communication with high efficiency without collision of signals, by allowing a transmitting node which detects a reception negative acknowledge signal (NACK) not to resends a signal immediately, but to transmit the same signal again when obtaining the right of transmission after one round. CONSTITUTION:The cyclic transfer of the right of transmission is carried out all the time without reference to whether data to be sent to each node is in queue or not and no signal collision is caused, so the efficiency is improved eventually. Specially, when data reception (or confirmation) is disabled, that is dealt with by NACK transmission, so time loss is minimized. A figure shows that the right of transmission is passed from a node N-1 to a node N and what kind of signal the node N sends out. When the node N finishes data transmission, the transmission is stopped for a specific time to indicate a data end and if there is a receiving node which fails to confirm data during said period, the NACK is sent out. This state is shown by a broken line. The node N sends out the address of a node N+1 a specific time later to pass the right of transmission to the node N+1. |
