PURPOSE:To strengthen a joint and to improve a mechanical resonance point by jointing a suspension and a carriage arm with the use of two rivets or more. CONSTITUTION:A suspension 4 is mounted at a carriage arm 5 movable to a track direction in order to read the information of an arbitrary position on a disk medium. A mount support 6 which is fixed on the suspension 4 by a spot welding and the like and has two holes is jointed with rivets 7 into the fitting holes 8 of the carriage arm 5. Thus, the suspension 4 and the carriage arm 5 are fixed-jointed with the use of two rivets or more. Thus, the fitting strength of the carriage arm 5 and the suspension 4 is improved in the direction to which a magnetic head 3 accesses and the mechanical resonance point of a suspension system is improved. |
