PURPOSE:To make an optimum torsional characteristic settable by setting up each inner circumferential surface of both side plates in a state of spacing their axial directions and intervals with each other, connecting an inner circumference of each side plate to a hub outer circumference with a cylindrical cam mechanism, and setting up an elastic body, expanding or contracting in the axial direction, between both these side plates. CONSTITUTION:In a clutch engaging state, torque is transmitted to side plates 3 via a frictional facing 8, and then transmitted to an output hub 1 from these plates 3 via a cylindrical cam mechanism 10. With this action, a ball 12 is moved in a guide groove 13 by force corresponding to the transfer torque, and these plates 3 are rotated relatively to the hub 1, while parts other than each outer circumferential part of both ball retainers 11 and these plates 3 are relatively moved in the axial direction. With this movement, each plate 3 (diaphragm spring) is elastically deformed, while an elastic body 20 is also elastically deformed toward an output shaft 2. Torque vibration is absorbed by the elastic deformation of these plate 3 and the elastic body 20. Each characteristic of both elements is properly combined together and thereby an optimum torsional characteristic is set up. |
