摘要 The invention relates to an electric battery comprising stacked sheets. The first type of sheet is proton-conductive and covered on both sides with electroconductive layers which at the same time catalytically ensure the transition of the protons into chemically bound compounds of hydrogen. The two other types of sheets are porous spacers which each serve as feeders for the hydrogen carriers and the combustion air and as auxiliary conductors for output and input of the electric current. The object of the invention is to implement, on the basis of battery and fuel-cell technology, a method which combines an energy store and a power generator, which can be recharged both by feeding in electricity, with the aid of the electrolysis of water, and by replacing the hydrogen carrier. Conversely, the proton-conductive sheets are able, by catalytic oxidation of the hydrogen carrier with air, to generate electric current. <IMAGE>
