PURPOSE:To obtain a food packaging bag with an excellent fragrance retention property, by making a bag with a film made of polybutylene terephthalate resin by heat-sealing. CONSTITUTION:A specific polybutylene terephthalate resin, concretely one with a comparatively high viscosity of more than 1.0 intrinsic viscosity, is chosen; and a film is formed by inflation forming. Next, this film is cut at a prescribed length, and the one side is heat-sealed by an impulse sealer to make a bag. This film made of a polybutylene terephthalate resin has no special smell, is tasteless, and has an excellent printability and a mechanical strength, therefore, it can be used even as a single layer. Therefore, the obtained bag is suitable for packaging of food to which fragrance retention properties are important, e.g., favorite food, such as tea, coffee, etc., sweets, such as chocolate, biscuit, etc., or pickles, such as kimchee, pickled radish, etc. |
