PURPOSE:To prepare a storage medium which an ordinary reader decides as a data error and rejects a processing by using an ordinary storage medium to store data in a word unit and intentionally breaking the parity. CONSTITUTION:An error byte number storage area 10 is provided in the tip of a magnetic stripe. The error byte number storage area 10 stores the number 5 of the byte 11 of which vertical parity is broken out of card data successively stored. Thus, the parity bit of the data is broken and stored into a medium, simultaneously it is stored in the medium how many words of parity are broken. Thus, the storage medium system under which other device is unable to read and write can be realized. |
