Apparatus for opening hinged receptacles

Such an apparatus is used for opening hinged receptacles at a loading opening of the container of a container vehicle in order to empty used materials collected in the hinged receptacles into the container. The hinged receptacles are divided, along a vertical central plane, into two receptacle sections which are connected to each other in a hinged manner at the upper side of the receptacle. In order to be able to open up the hinged receptacle exactly above the loading opening of the container, two cross members are provided which span the loading opening, are transversely displaceable with respect to each other, are mounted with their ends in guides which are situated transversely to them, and have at their upper sides receiving elements for in each case one receptacle section.
