Temperature sensor with protective tube

For the measurement of temperature in moving objects such as brake discs, grinding wheels or solid ceramic particles in plastics, a temperature sensor inside a protective tube is provided with a measuring tip made of a diamond body, which is applied to a stopper serving as bottom of the protective tube, the measuring tip being in direct thermal contact with the stopper; the protective tube is filled with electrically insulating material.
