In an eye rinsing bottle which comprises a bottle body for receiving the rinsing fluid and conveying means which feed the rinsing fluid from the bottle body to a head piece having an outlet opening for the spent fluid to be collected by a collecting funnel and to be discharged therefrom, it is provided that the bottle body be filled with a sterile fluid and tightly sealed, the seal being designed in such a way that it can easily be broken or destroyed for use of the rinsing bottle.
