Cushioned fixing tape for tracheotomy tubes

For prevention of chafes and inflammations on the neck of patients wearing tracheotomy tubes the invention is to provide a fixing tape for tracheotomy tubes which possesses both soft and sweat-absorbing, skin-compatible components. This is achieved in that a foam strip whose length is adapted to the anatomical conditions is covered by a tubular bandage which has a soft, sweat-absorbing effect. On each of its ends there is fastened a skin-compatible, velvet-covered rubber band which is provided in each case with a slide for infinite adjustability and with an eye hook for fastening on the tracheotomy tube.
