PURPOSE:To enable the easy setting or changing of a stroke length, speed, pressurizing force, etc. and the control of a press machine, by detecting a stroke signal and a speed signal when the work is beforehand pressed and controlling a driving source. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor 1a connected to a discriminator 6 and a command device 5 is controlled to drive a hydraulic servocontrol cylinder device 1 so that the work is pressed by means of a piston rod 2, a punch 3, a die 4, etc. The pulse signal supplied to the motor 1a during the pressing is counted with a pulse counter 7, and a speed signal is obtained with a time counter 9 from said counted pulses and the time pulses obtained from a transmitter 8. The speed signal is outputted to a detection part 13. A stroke signal is obtained with a stroke counter 12 from the distance pulses obtained from a length measuring device 10 provided to the rod 2 and a distance counter 11 and is outputted to the part 13. The stroke length and speed are then detected in the part 13, and the fresh controlling variable of the device 5 is determined in accordance with the same. |
