A holder according to the invention can be fitted anywhere where it is desirable that a drinking cup (8) can be put down. The holder comprises a casing (1, 2) whose outer shape (5) corresponds substantially to the outer shape of the cup (8). Moreover, an elastic ring or hoop (6) is arranged in which the cup (8) can be placed. Being of an elastic and yielding material the ring or hoop (6) will cause no inconvenience or injury if incidentally hit but merely yield and return to its normal shape. This makes the holder suitable for application where room is scarce and where the risk that people might hit it is great. |
