A device for storing an object, such as a key or the like (1), on a holder (3) in the form of a bracelet or the like worn on a part of the body, such as the wrist or the like, comprises a casing (2) which surrounds the key (1) at least partially and forms an integral part of the holder (3) or its fastener (7). The latter consists of mutually pivoting or folding fastener parts (66, 67, 68) or is designed as a sleeve-type fastener (97) or as a belt buckle (250).
