<p>PURPOSE:To improve efficiency and reduce cost by changing an electric vibration per unit time of an oscillation part by using an applied voltage. CONSTITUTION:Selected data equal to the number of pixels is output to a pixel selection output 7 and timing is obtained for voltage application. When a heat generating element 2 relatively moves to an object to be printed, a slit disc 18 is rotated by the movement of the heat generating element, and the pulse to indicate the arrival of the heat generating element at a voltage application position is caused to generate by a photointerrupter 19 designed to generate the pulse by the passage of the slit, to signal the timing for voltage application. If the pulse is entered by the interrupter 19, a sequencer 1 sets the number of output pulses from a voltage control oscillator 13 to a prescale value 10 to ensure required time for printing. At that time, a borrow output 6 is true and counting is initiated to apply voltage to the heat generating element for pixels selected by selective output of pixels, until the prescale value and the count value become equal.</p> |
