PURPOSE:To obtain high-quality laver, by applying crumpling action on raw seaweed when a washing machine is charged with said seaweed to separate foreign substances such as diatom along with crushing juvenile leaves. CONSTITUTION:An inner tank 2 provided with numerous fin holes arranged at specified regular intervals is located inside the bottomed outer tank 1 of a washing machine. At the center of the bottom of this inner tank 2, a lower board 6 is fitted via a supporting board 4. A hole is made at the center of the lower board 6, while the interior is provided with an interval 7 for charging raw seaweed, and furthermore, on the upper surface, a hole for charging raw seaweed and slits in the radius direction are provided. Said hole at the center of the lower board 6 is fitted with a revolving shaft 9, on which agitating blades 3 are fixed. The lower surface of the agitating blades 3 is provided with slits in the radius direction. When the agitating blades 3 are rotated in feeding the raw seaweed from the interval 7 into the inner tank 2, the seaweed is subjected to crumpling action between the slits on the lower board 6 and those on the agitating blades 3. |
