An attachment makes it possible to convert a hand-operated power-driven chain saw into a free cutter or similar. The attachment comprises a flat fastening element which can be fastened to the chain saw and can replace the guide bar. An elongated force-transmitting device extending from the front of the chain saw is connected at one end to the fastening element and to the toothed wheel of the chain saw by a chain and a second toothed wheel, and carries a free-cutting head or similar at the other end. |
