PURPOSE:To transfer to stapling process without interruption of the sorting operation by receiving selective action of a finish mode selecting means by a control means even during sorting or after completion thereof. CONSTITUTION:When a control device is set in the sorting mode, copied sheets exhausted out of an exhaust roller 22 are accommodated in bins 60 one after another with rotation of a floating cam 50 of a sorter part 41. In case a specified number of copied sheets are accommodated in each bin 60 when a finish mode key is pushed during this sorting action or after completion thereof, the bins 60 sink to the takeout position X3 one after another with rotation of a fix cam to send an accommodated sheet bundle onto a staple tray 91 along the transport path 80, and a stapler 100 performs stapling operation. Thus transfer to the stapling stage can be made without interruption of the sorting action to lead to enhancement of easy-to-use characteristic. |
