WEAPON CONTROL SYSTEM FOR SHIP

PURPOSE:To permit tactics to attack to a threatening target in early period and then retreat, by a method wherein a target information processing device is mounted on a warship and/or ship while a weapon control device is mounted on an attacking vessel and both of the devices are interlinked by a communication circuit. CONSTITUTION:In order to search and detect a threatening target 1 by a ship 2, pulse waves 3 are transmitted from a rader 4 and a video signal 9 is outputted to a display device 7 and a target information processing device 5 on the basis of a reflected wave form the threatening target 1. The target information processing device 5 operates analyzes the data of the movement of the target on the basis of a remote control command 11 on the display device 7, the video signal 9 and navigation data, obtained by a navigation device 8, and thereafter sends back analyzed data 10 to the display device 7. The remote control command 11 for an attacking vessel 15 is outputted on the basis of the decision of an operator and a tactical information 17 is outputted from the target information processing device 5 to the attacking vessel 15 through a communication circuit 16 between the communicating devices 18 of both ships. The attacking vessel 15 receives the tactical information 17 and sends it to a weapon control device 6 together with the navigation data 12 and fires an attacking missile 14 against the threatening target 1 at a proper time while correcting the tactical information 17 by the navigation data 12.
