<p>1456082 Chromium and cobalt complex azo dyes MONTEDISON SpA 11 Feb 1974 [14 Feb 1973] 6205/74 Heading C4P Novel metallized azo dyes having the formula (where A and C are the residues of a diazo component; B is the residue of a benzene, naphthalene heterocyclic or acetoacetarylamide coupling component; X and Z are -O- or -COO- ortho to the azo group; Y is -O- or -N(R), where R is H, C 1-3 alkyl or aryl, attached ortho or adjacent to the azo group in B; d is Hal, NO 2 , or C 1-3 alkyl or alkoxy; n is 0-3 and Me is Cr or Co) are prepared by reacting the monoazo dye with a metallizing agent to form the 2 : 1 symmetrical dyes; and 2:1 asymmetrical dyes are prepared by reacting the 1:1 metallized dye with an azo compound. The metallization is carried out in aqueous, aqueous organic or organic medium. The dyes are used for dyeing a printing material or synthetic polyamide materials.</p> |
