PURPOSE:To drive an EL displayer in a push-pull mode by installing drive circuits respectively provided with the 1st and 2nd n-channel MOS transistors to each electrode on one side of the scanning and data sides and providing a circuit which changes the turning on and off of the 1st MOS transistors to each other. CONSTITUTION:Drive circuits respectively provided with the 1st n-channel MOS transistors 1-1-1-n which are turned on and pull down electrodes when their gate sides become high in level and 2nd n-channel MOS transistors 4-1-4-n whose gate sides connected with the 1st MOS transistors 1-1-1-n become high in level and which are turned on and pull up the electrodes when the 1st n- channel MOS transistors 1-1-1-n are turned off, are installed to each electrode on one side of the scanning and data sides. In addition, a logic circuit 2 which selectively changes the turning on and off of the 1st n-channel MOS transistors 1-1-1-n of the drive circuits to each other are provided. Therefore, each electrode can be pulled up and down selectively by using the n-channel MOS transistors and the EL display device is driven in the push-pull mode.
