The disposable spoon packaging, especially for plastics spoons which are folded in half prior to use and thrown away afterwards, consists of two layers of plastic film which are joined together face-to-face, forming a series of closed pockets between them, each of which contains one folded spoon. The packed spoons are separated by a section of the double plastic film (38) which is perforated (50) between adjacent spoons to allow them to be separated individually from the strip. One edge of each individual pack can have a notch (45) to facilitate opening.
