PURPOSE:To subject only the printing part of thermosensitive recording paper to color forming development and to improve the preservable property of the recording paper by projecting UV rays on the printing part on the recording paper then heating the same. CONSTITUTION:The thermosensitive recording paper formed by using a resin which is changed in material transmittability by photoirradiation as a wall material 3 of capsules is used and is subjected to printing by the UV irradiation followed by heating. Namely, the material transmittability of the capsule wall 3 in the thermosensitive recording material increases and thermosensitive dyes 1 are diffused and released together with the liquid 2 in the capsules to the outside when the UV rays are projected on the material. The heat sensitive dyes 1 and color developing materials 4 are then melted and mixed by the heating over the entire surface of the heat sensitive recording material 7. Further the capsule walls 3 restore the state before the UV irradiation and the thermosensitive dyes 1 and the color developing materials 4 react with each other and change to color forming dyes 3, by which the color development is effected. The preservable property of the recording paper is thereby improved and a thermal head for color formation is simplified. |
