PURPOSE:To obtain a hair cosmetic providing the hair with excellent gloss and smooth touch, having good set retaining power, by blending a hair cosmetic with a polyoxyalkylene modified organopolysiloxane and an ampholytic polymer. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic is blended with (A) 0.1-20wt.%, especially 0.5-10wt.% based on sum of the cosmetic of a compound shown by formula I-formula IV (R is 1-3C alkyl or phenyl; R' is H or 1-6C alkyl; p is 1-5; m is 0-100; n and x are 1-100; t and y are 0-50; m, n, x and y are average numbers and selected in such a way that 40-85wt.% polyoxyalkylene is contained in the molecule and the compound has 100-2,000 centistokes viscosity at 25 deg.C) and (B) 0.1-10wt.%, especially 0.5-5wt.% ampholytic polymer such as a compound shown by formula V (n:m=90:10-50:50 and molecular weight is 50,000-500,000; R1 and R5 are H or CH3; R2 and R3 are 1-4C alkyl; R4 and R7 are 1-4C alkylene; R6 is 1-24C alkyl; A is O or NH). |
