The appts. for the production of heat-shrinkable polyethylene tube film comprises a pair of stretching rollers (25,25') at the upper portion, a pair of conveying rollers (11,11') mounted in a heat bath (10), a turntable (6) disposed at the lower portion of a frame (1) and rotated with the conveying rollers, and a sensor (19) for detecting and correcting the passageway of the tube film fed to the conveying rollers. A tube film (F) transported upward and filled up with compressed air is twisted at a regular revolution speed by the turntable so as to give a torsional stress to the tube film.
