The side plates are secured by screws or dogs to the profile strips universal hinge sections may be sandwiched between the strips and the side plates to provide a location for projections on a flap down front cover. The hinge sections may also be turned through 90 deg. and inset into slots within the profile strips to provide a facility for a side hung door.
