PURPOSE:To obtain an optical disk with a few of errors and extremely high reliability by providing a disk carrier and a disk case on which the disk carrier is mounted rotatably freely and permeability for wavelength in use is attached on an information read/write part. CONSTITUTION:An information disk 1 and a rotor 2 consisting of a permanent magnet are mounted integrally, and the disk 1 and the rotor 2 are mounted on the disk case 4 via a pivot mechanism 3. A transmissible glass window 5 is provided on the case 4, and furthermore, a metallic shutter 6 and a shutter window 7 are mounted, and it is constituted so that the shutter window 7 can coincide with the glass window 5 by moving the shutter 6 leftward. When the optical disk with the case is inserted to a device, the shutter 6 is opened automatically, and the shutter window 7 is moved to the position of the glass window 5, then, optical read/write can be performed. Also, a rotating magnetic field is generated by the winding at a stator side of a motor provided at a device side, then, the rotor 2 is rotated. |
