The collecting tank is for the cooled water from a central heating plant, where a quantity of heat is withdrawn from the outlet water and used to heat the heat exchanger of the central heating plant. For discharge of the cooled water, an ascending pipe (5) which begins at the bottom of the collecting tank (3), extends horizontally just beneath the inflow level, and is then connected to the outlet pipe, and is provided with a deaerating device (6). The tank includes an outlet with a slide valve (4) which is opened only for cleaning. The water settles in the tank with a temp of 30 deg.C at the bottom and 60 deg. at the top, with the ascending pipe extending into the coldest layer of water.
|
