PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality uniform image by short-time heating by holding a thermally developable photosensitive material obtd. by coating at a relatively low temp. for a certain time before heating. CONSTITUTION:A photographic constituent layer contg. photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent and a binder is formed on a supporting body by coating and drying, held in an atmosphere at <=30 deg.C for >=24hr and held in an atmosphere at >=35 deg.C for >=2hr. Since a desired hardening level can be attained, uneven development and transfer can be suppressed with slight fogging and desensitization without considerably raising max. density. It is supposed that fogging is caused by the decomposition of the reducing agent during heating. |
