PURPOSE:To secure safety in shooting a gun by allowing shooting to be performed by pulling the trigger of a gun only when a photodetector provided to either the target side or the gun side is receiving the light from a light source provided to the opposite side. CONSTITUTION:A pull at the trigger 5 turns on a switch 14 so that a signal from a power source line 18 is inputted to one in an AND gate 15. Accordingly, by the output of the AND gate 15 a control device 16 is driven so that a shooting mechanism 17 is actuated, releasing the projectile from a gun 3 toward a target 2. But, when a photodetector 6 is not present within the projection region of, the light from a light emitting device 11, there is no signal from the photodetector 6, that is, no input from the photodetector 6 in the AND gate 15, so that the gun 5 does not shoot a projectile. Thus, when the aim of the gun deviates from a prescribed region of the target 2, pulling the trigger 5 fails to shoot a projectile so that safety is secured in the practice of shooting a gun 3. |
