PURPOSE:To make a suction grill small sized and improve an appearance of a ceiling-buried type air conditioner by a method wherein, a heat exchanging chamber and a blowing air chamber which can be separated are taken-in from an opening port of a suction grill arranged in the ceiling and made detachable. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner has a heat exchanging chamber 21 having a heat exchanger 22 and a water receiving tray 23 which can be separated to each other and an air blowing chamber 24 having a fan 25 and a fan motor 26. The width and depth size of each of the heat exchanging chamber 21 and the air blowing chamber 24 are made smaller than those of an opening 32 formed in a ceiling 31 for use in fixing a suction grill 30. When the heat exchanging chamber 21 and the blowing chamber 24 are connected and assembled, the entire width and depth sizes are made larger than those of the opening part 32. Accordingly, in case of repairing and inspection, the blowing chamber 24 is separated from the heat exchanging chamber 21, taken out of a ceiling opening 32 and further the heat exchanging chamber 21 is separated from a duct 28 and taken out. After repairing and inspection, each of them is restored through the opening 32 into the ceiling 31. |
