The machine for corrugating sheet material has upward and downward forming rollers which can be individually adjusted laterally to the direction of corrugation. There is at least one separate set of drive rollers (17A-K) with corresponding counter rollers. Both the drive and counter rollers can be laterally adjusted. - All forming rollers which correspond to a ridge or groove lie in the same plane. Equivalent points of contact between the sheet material and the forming rollers lie in a curved array. The points of contact between the drive rollers and sheet lie in a common horizontal plane.
