Portable vice with G-clamp for mounting - having orientation by shafts received in square array of holes

The portable vice with a 'G' clamp (23) for temporary fixing to a bench edge is of the type with the mobile jaw sliding on parallel shafts projecting from the static jaw, and the vice to clamp connection is made by shaft projections received in clamp drillings. Two of these drillings, (24, 25) locate horizontally aligned above the static clamp jaw (20), and two further drillings (29, 30) locate at 45 deg. and 90 deg. in the vertical plane relative to one (24) of the primary drillings. Vice orientation is achieved by fixing the vice with one shaft in the drilling (24) and the other shaft in either of the other three (25, 29, 30).
