The perforation pliers have a punch matrix perforation arrangement whereby the pliers form parallel opposed planes when closed. One plane has an encoding field with punch holes and the other a field with corresp. receiving holes for punching pins perpendicular to the plane. - Two positioning pins are arranged along the long edge of one encoding field. Eight punch holes and eight receiving holes are provided with four in each line. The positioning pins have a greater separating distance than that for a column of punch or receiving holes. Their centre separation is 10.5mm and dia. 1.47mm.
