<p>In a contact arrangement having axial-field contacts, the essentially hollow-cylindrical contact carriers (2) in each case form a chamber (12) which contains a supporting body (16, 17). According to the invention, this chamber (12) contains a profiled body (14) consisting of ferromagnetic material, whose surface facing the contact disc (4) is provided with a recess which contains a projection (15) in the region close to the axis. Furthermore, two supporting bodies (16, 17) consisting of an electrically poorly conductive, non-magnetic material are arranged one behind the other in the axial direction in such a manner that one is arranged in front of and one behind the profiled body (14).
