PURPOSE:To secure the operational rapidity of a catheter under fluoroscopy by changing over a change over means when a satisfactory blood vessel image becomes obtainable from a peak holding DSA means to select an image obtained by adding a peak holding DSA image and a fluoroscopic image. CONSTITUTION:A doctor observes a monitor image and pushes a stop button 8 when a satisfactory contrast medium locus image, that is, a blood vessel image is obtained. Whereupon, the peak holding DSA image formed theretofore is frozen to be outputted from a peak holding DSA part 3. This image is the blood vessel image judged to be well by the doctor and added to a fluoroscopic image in an adder 9 through an emphasizing device 7 and the addition image is displayed on a TV monitor apparatus through a switch 2 and a D/A converter 4. At this time, the emphasizing device 7 is set to a preset emphasizing degree and the monitor image becomes a road map image on the basis of brightness such that the blood vessel image is distinguished from a background image or a catheter image. When this road map image is observed, a state such that the catheter image enters the blood vessel image is cleared and the operation for inserting a catheter in a blood vessel can be easily performed. |
