PURPOSE:To suppress fluctuation of steering force and to improve maneuverability and safety by constructing a power steering such that pressure oil is fed through an auxiliary oil pressure path and thence through a responsive correction oil pressure path to a power cylinder when turning/returning of steering wheel is started. CONSTITUTION:In a power steering 10 having a power cylinder 11 associated with a pair of cylinder chambers 44, 45, pressure oil is fed from an oil pump 12 through a control valve 13 having a pair of reaction chambers 56, 57, main oil pressure paths 19-21 and pressure oil injection valves 25, 26 into respective cylinder chambers 44, 45 in order to perform power steering. Pressure oil can be fed directly from the oil pump 12 through the pressure oil valves 25, 26 and responsive correction oil pressure paths 22, 23 into respective cylinder chambers 44, 45. Furthermore, a pair of auxiliary oil pressure path 26, 27 bypassing the injection valves 24, 25 and arranged with check valves 28, 29 are provided in order to enable supply of oil pressure through respective auxiliary oil pressure paths 26, 27. |
