PURPOSE:To safely and efficiently scrape out a slag of a molten steel surface of the inside of a weir by connecting the upper part of a slag removing plate and the cylinder rod of a cylinder device by a spring. CONSTITUTION:In case of scraping in a slag toward the wall of a tundish 10 by pressing a slag removing plate 14 a spring 18 is bent when the slag removing plate 14 is pressed to the wall of the tundish 10. When the slag removing plate 14 goes on to the wall outside of the tundish 10 further, the slag is popped out to the external slag removing box from the tundish 10 by the restoring force of the spring 18 of the slag removing plate 14 and can be scraped out efficiently. |
