PURPOSE:To obtain the title nearly exactly spherical particle in good productivity, by dropping a silicone gel composition into water through a nozzle continuously moving over the surface of water. CONSTITUTION:A silicone gel composition is obtained by mixing 1,000,000pts.wt. mixture of an organopolysiloxane (A) having at least two lower alkenyl groups in the molecule and having a viscosity >=100cP (at 25 deg.C) with an organohydrogenpolysiloxane (B) having at least two Si-bonded hydrogen atoms. in the molecule and having a viscosity of 10,000-50,000cP at 25 deg.C in an amount to give a molar ratio of the Si-bonded hydrogen atoms. to the lower alkenyl groups of component A of 0.1-1:1 with 0.1-1,000pts.wt. platinum compound (C) at -60-10 deg.C. Said composition is dropped into water through a nozzle and cured in it while the point of drop is moved by continuously moving the nozzle over the surface of water. |
