<p>The metallising spray gun has a muzzle formed by a gas nozzle, a mixer and a muzzle block. These main components are sealed to each other by metal-to-metal contact, one of the surfaces being flat and at right angles to the nozzle axis. The other surface has a series of coaxial annular ribs of a section such that the area of contact with the flat surface (16, 17) is reduced. Their section is angular or semi-circular, and they are arranged concentrically on opposite sides of the gas passage drillings (12, 14, 15). The ribs can be of V-section, and between two or more of the components there can be a metal washer of softer material than the ribs. Holes (20) are drilled in this washer on a concentric pitch circle, whose radius lies between those of two adjacent ribs.</p> |
