PURPOSE:To prevent the vehicle theft and prevent the drive by a not-qualified person by permitting the engine start by the input by an ID card which a qualified driver possesses or a ten key which is characteristic for the pertinent driver. CONSTITUTION:The titled ID system is constituted of an integral structure of an ID input device, memory recognizing device 5, liquid crystal display 3, etc., so as to facilitate the installation onto the instrument panel of a vehicle. The ID input device is constituted so that the ID code is inputted by an ID card inserted into a card reader 8 or a ten key 4, and the code inputted by the ten key 4 is displayed on the display 3. In the memory recognizing device 5, the ID code inputted by the ID input device is compared with the prescribed ID code which is previously memorized, and when the both codes accord, a display lamp 7 comes ON, and engine start is performed. |
