<p>PURPOSE:To stamp a lot number on the ear of an anode with ease, by a method wherein the ear part of the anode successively fed in a cooling tank is supported by a support part, and the ear part is given an impact by an impact part with a stamping part depressed against the upper surface of the ear part by a pressing part. CONSTITUTION:When an anode 1 transported within a cooling tank 10 reaches the position of an anode numbering device, a limit switch operates to stop the anode. Support parts 16, 16 are raised by cylinders 15, 15 to support and raise an ear part 2 of the anode 1 upward. By actuating a cylinder 55, the anode 1 is pushed leftward by an arm 57, whereby the ear part 2 is located at a stamping position. The actuation of a cylinder 23 causes a travel part 24 of a pressing part 21 to move, whereby an abutting board 45 abuts on the upper surface of the ear part 2 with an inclination along its gradient to abut thereon in parallel. The further movement of the travel part 24 causes a stamping holder 34 to swing about the center of a spherical part 30 and consequently causes a printing part 48 to abut in parallel. Therefore, the printing part 48 gives an impacts on the upper surface of a plate 21a of the pressing part 21 with a cylinder shaft 50a, thereby stamping a lot number on the upper surface of the ear part 2 of the anode 1.</p> |
