PURPOSE:To make it possible to set the wire speed, the round cycle numbers, the new wire feeding amount, and the like independently respectively and as desired by providing control circuits to control independently exclusive motors for a new wire reel, a main roller, and a winding reel respectively. CONSTITUTION:A workpiece 13 of a semiconductor or the like is fixed on a processing table 11 between main rollers 6 and 7 on condition that the direction of the cutting and the direction of a wire 2 are coincided. By giving a rotation in the normal and reverse directions periodically to the main roller 6 at the driving side through a motor control circuit in such a condition, the wire 2 is given a round feed movement, and new wire is moved to a winding reel 12 side from a reel 3 side. The displacement of a dancer roller 17 following the cutting by the wire 2 is detected by a sensor 19, and the rotation speed of a motor 14 for the new wire reel 3 is adjusted by a control circuit responding to the excess and the deficiency of the wire speed around the new wire reel 3. In the same manner, the displacement of a dancer roller 18 is detected by a sensor 20, and the rotation speed of a motor 16 for the winding reel 12 is adjusted by a control circuit. |
