The parallel vice assembly has removable jaws. At least one of the two jaws (2,2') has a recess (1,1'), extending in clamping direction, and open at the top. On either side of the recesses, there are bores (3,3'), also extending in clamping direction, and locking elements (5) for the journal of a removable jaw (4, 7), which may be placed into the bore. The removable jaws may be round or rectangular. USE/ADVANTAGE - Vice for holding workpiece. When two removable jaws are used, a clamped workpiece can be cut, and the sections are retained.
