PURPOSE:To eliminate mis-recording and to expand an operating margin by providing a non-magnetic intermediate layer between a recording layer and a magnetic field forming layer. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate layer 10 consisting of a thin insulating material is provided between the recording layer 2 formed on a substrate 1 and the magnetic field forming layer 3 for a laser beam 6. By forming structure in such way, it is possible to prevent the magnetic property of the magnetic field forming layer 3 from being changed by heat even when the recording layer 2 is heated over a Curie temperature by the laser beam 6 converged by a lens 5, and also to block a switching mutual function. In such a way, the operating margin can be expanded, and the mis-recording can be eliminated. |
