摘要 PURPOSE:To successively process m-pieces of data per buffer to contrive a high speed processing by a method wherein mXn-pieces of data made of a plurality of bits are successively fetched by n-pieces by providing n-buffers and compared with a reference signal by every buffer. CONSTITUTION:Printing data for one line made of 4 blocks each having 8 units each having 32 pieces are issued by one block from a storage part 20 to be successively stored in buffers B1-B8 of a buffer 19 by one unit of 32- pieces, successively fetched by a selector 18, compared with gradation data in a down counter 17 by a comparator 16 to be processed, and outputted to a shift resistor 14. A signal inputted to the shift register 14 drives a driver circuit 12 through a latch circuit 13. At this time, an enable signal is applied to a block corresponding to the printing data, whereby a pulse with a pulse width according to the content of the printing data is applied to respective heating elements 11 in the block to make them generate heat. In this manner, a large amount of data can be processed at high speed.
