DEVICE FOR TREATING TAIL YARN IN SPINNING FRAME, TWISTING MACHINE OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To prevent tail yarns released from a nipping tool after auto-doffing from exerting a bad influence during winding and also yarn breakage from occurring, by equipping the basal part of a spindle with a special structural tool for nipping tail yarns. CONSTITUTION:An upper slit ring 5 having a ring shape cutting blade 3 for cutting and a flange part 4 is fixed at an upper basal part of a spindle 2. The flange 4 of the upper slit ring 5 is equipped with plural number of yarn passage holes (P). A gap (S) for introducing the subject yarns in the reverse direction of spindle-rotation is formed at the outer peripheral side of the yarn passage holes (P). A cylindrical unit 8 having a lower slit ring 6 at the upper end and the part 7 extending centrifugal force at the lower part is equipped under the upper slit ring 5 so as to enable sliding in the axial direction of the spindle.
