PURPOSE:To improve the operability of the title system and to effectively utilize a memory by canceling a down load memory at the time of turning on a power supply, using a part corresponding to the down load memory also as a receiving buffer, and in case of necessary, dynamically changing memory constitution to secure a down load area. CONSTITUTION:At the time of turning on the power supply, a down load area 2 is canceled as shown in Fig.(a) and a part corresponding to the down load area is also used as a receiving buffer 1. When a printer processes the data of the receiving buffer and down load data are read out at address 'XXXX'as shown in Fig.(b), the address 'XXXX' is indicated by an end pointer 5 and address 'XXXX+800' is indicated by an end pointer 6 to secure the down load area and to change the receiving buffer area. When the address 'XXXX+800' exceeds address '1800', the part exceeding the address '1800' is removed from address '0000'.
