PURPOSE:To enhance the releasability of a transfer ink image and to make a whole device small in size by imparting a photo-setting properties by a light having a specific wavelength to a fluid ink and providing an optical system for projecting the light having the specific wavelength on an ink image on a film through a deflection means or a light separation means. CONSTITUTION:Photo-setting properties by a light having a specific wavelength is imparted to fluid inks 2, 2'. Ink images 2a, 2a' on a recording medium 8 and ink images 2a, 2a' on intermediate transfer means 6, 6' are exposed to the light having the specific wavelength emitted from light sources 16, 16 ' disposed one for each unit through deflection means (reflecting members) 20, 20 '. The photo-setting properties of the ink images accompanied with this exposure reduces the adhesion between the recording medium 8 and the ink images 2a, 2a'. As a result, the transfer ink images 2a, 2a' can be easily released. Furthermore, because the ink images 2a, 2a' on the recording medium 8 and the intermediate transfer means 6, 6 ' are exposed by using the deflection means 20, 20', the light sources 16, 16' can be disposed one for each unit. Therefore, an image display can be made small. |
