<p>PURPOSE:To enable writing/reading of magnetic information to be normally performed without affecting the magnetic information recorded on an outer plate, by forming the outer plate of a portable storage medium from a metal having a specified permeability. CONSTITUTION:Metallic outer plates 5 are fitted to both sides of a circuit part 3, a printed overcoat layer 9 is provided on an anchor layer 7 provided on one of the outer plates 5, and a magnetic stripe 1 is fitted to the layer 9 to obtain a desired portable storage medium. The outer plates are formed of a metal having a permeability of not more than 1.005. As a result, writing/ reading of magnetic information can be normally performed without affecting the magnetic information recorded on the outer plate 5.</p> |
