The present invention relates to an arrangement for clamping a hose made of resilient material to one end (1) of a pipe, the end (5) of the hose being fitted over a bead (2) on the pipe-end. According to the invention, the pipe-end includes two mutually opposing recesses (3) which extend slightly inwards on the pipe-end in the longitudinal direction of the pipe and which are intended to accommodate mutually opposing recesses (7) disposed on the hose-end (5) and having a shape complementary to the shape of the recesses on the pipe-end. The bottom of each recess (3, 7) is provided with a through-passing opening and the openings in the recesses are in register with one another when the hose-end is fitted onto the pipe-end. The arrangement also includes a clamping element (11) which extends through the openings and which is tightened with the aid of a suitable mechanism (9), such as to clamp the hose to the pipe. |
